Google Warns Users to Malware

Today while searching Google for a PHP Events Calendar to use on doswfl.com I ran into a Malware Warning brought to me by Google. I haven’t seen this before from Google. Is this new? If so it’s a great idea! This could possible cut down on the number of windows viruses simple by warning users and making it harder for them to get to a site known to have embeded Malware. Take a look at this screenshot

I would have to say thanks to Google for protecting users!

Google Buys YouTube

Well I stated last week that Google may have been in talks with YouTube to offer them a deal. MyWay is reporting that this is true. Google has purchased YouTube with Stock for 1.65 Billion Dollars. That’s right folks billion dollars! So here is the question, Is YouTube really worth $1.65 Billion? Myspace and other sites still get more visitors and posts than YouTube, so what is the reasoning behind this deal? I think this is an interesting price and purchase. What do you think? I have a feeling that Internet monopoly will be the phrase to be bloged about in the coming weeks.

Is Adsense Dead?

AdsI have been thinking lately about Google Adsense, and have posted my thoughts about it before. Doug at work has showed me a lot of cool tricks and trades about how to generate traffic and ads that are worth more per click. I have been checking things out and I will tell you it’s a lot of work. About a week or two ago I was reading a post by Robert Scobel where he had mentioned something about getting paid to blog. I searched the internet and found a couple of sites and one had the best business plan to make money.

I personally haven’t made much money if any (not enough for a check yet) from Google’s ads but some have made thousands. The average user is getting smarter and not clicking on advertisements making it hard I think to make money out of Google’s ads. It is much easier to get paid a portion of money to just write at free will and that’s what I like most. What do you think about the two different models? Is it easier to make money through a company that will pay you per post or count on clicks to generate revenue? I personally like the pay per post deal and I will be generating more money that way too if all goes right!
