Shaun Farrell

My name as you probably already know is Shaun and I was born in the great city of Auburn, New York located about 28 miles southwest of Syracuse, NY in the heart of the Finger Lakes.

I am twenty-eight (1981) years old and currently working at software development firm (ePlus Systems, Inc) in Rochester, New York SONY Electronics as a Application Developer in Fort Myers, FL CACI Inc. as a Web Software Developer where I work on-site at the Library of Congress in the Office of Strategic Initiatives (OSI).

After graduating High School I was interested in enlisting into the United States Coast Guard and traveled to New London, CT to visit the academy. However, things fell through and I eventually enrolled at SUNY Morrisville majoring in Computer Information Systems. After a year of hell, not school wise but the aesthetics of the college and the surrounding area, I decided to move back to Auburn and enroll at Cayuga Community College (CCC) where I could decided what I was going to do with my life. Who would have ever thought that Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) was the way to go? Less than a year later my buddy Chris and I were both attending RIT with majors in Information Technology. In May of 2005 I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology (Database development, Web Design) with a minor in Political Science.

Oh yea, I was married to my lovely wife Jennifer on November 6th, 2009!
