Here were my initial thoughts on these icons:
#1 Settings
#2 Hm…. um….
#3 Home
#4 Self-explanitory…
#5 Where to? Directions?
A few seconds later I realized #2 a parking meter. It’s probably fine. I might play with just showing the top half of the meter. Not sure about #5. I’m used to my Garmin with the text “Where to?”. The intent of #4 and #5 is confusing to me. #4 shows you where you are, and #5 gives you directions somewhere? Why can’t you just do #5 and show where you are when it comes up?
One comment: I’ve only seen these icons used on the bottom bar of the phone. I haven’t seen them used in any application, that I know of. Look at other applications. I think the de jure approach is to use the gray silhouette icons (e.g., the Facebook app).

More good Comments. I am looking to find how those images are created. Do you know where I can see what they look like?

The icons I am referring to are in the 2nd column, toward the mid-bottom.
