Two things the McCain campaign keeps getting wrong:
(1) Obama didn’t vote for the funding because the bill didn’t have a timeline for withdrawal. How can you have a war without a plan?
(2) Airstrikes in Afghanistan have resulted in civilian deaths. Defense Secretary Robert Gates: “I offer all Afghans my sincere condolences and personal regrets for the recent loss of innocent life as a result of coalition airstrikes” (September 17, 2008)
