That shit makes me mad. Dinosaurs, really? Did he just really go on and on about Dinosaurs - and the scary thing is people, idots, morons, in this country will listen to this and make their judgment based on what Matt Damon said or what a celebrity said. Now thats scary!!!

Well, I agree that it’s sad that people will listen and follow what celebrities say (e.g. Oprah has quite an effect). Matt Damon is certainly not the most well spoken, and he clearly should have done more research on Palin before talking about her.

The fact is: Palin supports the evolution vs. creationism debate, she inquired about banning books, believes the Iraq war is a “task that is from God”, called a $30 million pipeline “God’s will”, and she denies humans have contributed to global warming. How is that not scary? No well-educated human being would do any of those things.

FYI, I just listened to an interview with Palin where she clarified that she meant that she hopes that she is on God’s side. She says she didn’t intend to convey that she knows what God’s will is. That didn’t come across in the video, but at least she addressed it.

Also from the interview: she now believes humans have contributed to global warming! Thank goodness.
