Sounds like gravy, but the American Energy Act supports ANWR drilling. As we all know, environmentalists have urged against ANWR drilling since the 70s. Nothing has changed in terms of the threat of oil spills and the impact of all of the pipelines, roads, facilities and platforms that would be required to support the effort.

McCain opposes ANWR. Palin is for it. It will be interesting to see if he flip-flops again (he was against off-shore drilling before he was for it, same with Obama–but Obama requires a careful drilling strategy). Obama’s energy policy seems a lot less scary in terms of long-term environmental impact.

Let’s also remember that drilling now will have no short-term impact.

    For clarification:
If you agree with this video, then you disagree with McCain’s energy policy.

i think we all know that it would take 5-10 yrs to start to see an impact. and that is true. McCain doesn’t agree with drilling in ANWR. I am for it! Sarah Palin is for it to!

Ok, then we agree to disagree!

After doing more research on ANWR, it seems that it would cut gas prices $0.01 by 2025. In my opinion, this isn’t worth the environmental risk in state that already has seen a huge global warming impact.
