CNN: Fact of Fiction?

September 10th, 2008

Are these two news stories both put out by CNN contradictory?  Seems odd that one story by CNN says one thing and then Anderson Cooper (CNN) says something total different.  It strikes me as odd.

Video Two (Anderson Cooper)

Definitely a big contradiction with special education funding. She did increase funding by 12%. It looks like this was all caused by reading the fiscal budgets wrong (http://blogs.edweek.org/edweek/speced/2008/09/gov_palins_budget_for_special_1.html). CNN didn’t admit to knowing whether or not she cut funding in the first video though, they just noted that democrats think she did.

Regarding the 2nd video, that first allegation is ridiculous (lizards of satan?!). Anyone who believed that doesn’t deserve to vote. Asking a library about banning books is still a very big question mark in my opinion–why would you even do that? The one thing I would like clarification on is her appearance at her former church, where she allegedly said the US is carrying out God’s will in Iraq. Supporting the creationism vs. evolution debate is also strange, but I don’t think that should be a federal political issue.

Yeah I was talking about the special education. And i do think Lizards of Satan is crazy. I wonder what they look like though. Banning books, yeah whatever it didn’t happen. she may of ask but in the end it never happened. the Religion and what she believes in everyone has there opinion. Barack was associated with Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr and probably still would be to this day if he wasn’t in the spot light. He still believes in everything white says it’s just that right now it doesn’t make obama look good.

She inquired about banning books. Why would anyone inquire about banning books?

I don’t care about her religion, but it seems to get meshed in with her politics (e.g. Iraq war is a “task that is from God”).

Yeah, Obama has ties to Rev. Wright, but let’s not forget McCain has ties to Rev. John Hagee, who is A LOT scarier http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hagee Both Obama and McCain both have both reportedly cut off relations with the men, so I think that this doesn’t matter.
