Space Shuttle Discovery (STS-116)

On Saturday Jen and I watched the shuttle launch on Television and then quickly ran outside and looked north. With camcorder in hand we filmed the Space Shuttle launch all the way from Fort Myers, Florida. That’s about 300 or so miles away. One of the cool things about living in South Florida is that you live Nasa’s playground. Since I have been here I have seen one shuttle launch and heard two sonic booms from the shuttle flying over us on its way to land. Next week we hope to hear another from STS-116.
