Message Boom!

The founders of YouTube have posted a small clip on there site! The video mentions two kingdoms coming together which I thought was kind of funny. Today on the NBC Today show they mentioned the acquisition and then mentioned internet Boom! God please don’t say we are going to have another Internet boom. I don’t think we are even close to a boom. You have to remember that back in the 90′s and now are two totally different markets of the Internet. There are not many similarities between the two and many changes have happened making the two time periods much different. Do you think there is a boom?

Google Buys YouTube

Well I stated last week that Google may have been in talks with YouTube to offer them a deal. MyWay is reporting that this is true. Google has purchased YouTube with Stock for 1.65 Billion Dollars. That’s right folks billion dollars! So here is the question, Is YouTube really worth $1.65 Billion? Myspace and other sites still get more visitors and posts than YouTube, so what is the reasoning behind this deal? I think this is an interesting price and purchase. What do you think? I have a feeling that Internet monopoly will be the phrase to be bloged about in the coming weeks.

RIT Site Redesign

RIT LOGORochester Institute of Technology, my alma mater, has finally redesigned there web site. This is so muesign team. I haven’t run the site through any w3c validations but ill leave that for Andy. He is the one that always comments on my work and how some of it fails when placed through the w3c engines. What ever Andy comes up with I still think this is much better than before. Execellent work!
