And it’s Sold!
May 5th, 2006
The Rochester Fast Ferry has been sold for $29.8 million dollars. That’s the good news for the city. The Bad news is that they will still be in debt $19 million and still have to pay The Port of Toronto $250,000 CAD a year for 13 Years. You can blame ex Mayor Bill Johnson for that deal. It’s always good to screw the city that you governed months before you leave office. FYI – ex Mayor Johnson is now a tenured Professor in Public Policy at RIT.
The Ferry was sold to a British company named Euroferries.

It was no actually sold.
Euroferry has no money on its bank account.
Ferry stays in Nova Scotia with no move, Rochester is still paying per-day port delay fee.
