Collin Finnerty to be Charged in DC too?

DCThere seams to be more troubles for Duke Lacrosse player Collin Finnerty.  On Nov. 5th 2005 he and a couple of friends were caught up in a street fight in Georgetown, DC.  Having lived in the DC metro area, this is a common sight so I am not surprised.  However, his charges were drop unless he ended back up in court or under arrest.  Well that time has come.  With his name all over the media for something they might not have even done he will now have to go back to DC court to face his charges on the Nov. 5 street fight.  These charges could bring him to the big house for up to 6 months.

You can find more about this at NY Daily News, The News & Observer, Washington Post

Here are some questions that I ask,
So what if they are found not-guilty or the case is dropped?  Will Finnerty have to face charges in DC?  Does anyone know the Legal System?

Duke Rape Case

DukeThe Drudge Report is displaying a picture of the so called victim in the Duke Rap scandal or better know as the Duke helps DA get reelected campaign.  They also have a poll asking if they should release the name of the victim to the media.  I voted, yes all the way.  If you are going to call out two men for doing something and then plaster them all over the news and ruin there lives (if they did it or not) then the victims name should be released too (if she was raped or not).  What do you think?

Gmail Bug

BugNo it’s not that I am sick of gmail or that I can’t stop using it. It’s that sometime last week Google incorporated Google calendar into gmail and ever since then there has been some annoying bugs, specifically with the archive button. Sometimes I am unable to archive messages from my inbox. It’s a periodic bug that happens often but its really annoying. My work around is to either (1) reload the page or (2) open the message and click on archive button. Google please fix this!
