I have added two new books to the reading list. Today I decided to go out to Barnes and Nobles and grab these two hot titles. The first one is called Naked Converstations by Robert Scoble and Shel Israel. It’s funny becuase when I went to the counter to ask where I could find the location of the book she was Supprised that it was in the business marketing section. The book is mainly about how blogs change the way businesses talk with there customers. The second book that I picked up was a new title out on the market for CSS.
CSS Mastery: Advanced Web Statndards Solutions is a new book by Andy Budd that shows the reader the latest CSS tips, tricks, and techniques of web development. There are some very well known co-authors that are lsited on this book too, such as Cameron Moll and Simon Collison. Oh yeah Molly has a quote on the front of the cover.
It’s interesting how Scoble has changed since he started blogging. Not only has he drank the cool-aid, but he thinks serving it up to others somehow makes him smarter than everyone else. Personally I find him useless because he’s nothing more than a Microsoft “evangalist” (i.e. marketer who spends his free time marketing for MS also).
Veridicus, Have you read “Naked Conversations?” I have completed 2 chapters so far and think its really good. I’m not look at the microsoft aspect of the book yet but looking at it as a whole. I take it your not a fan of Microsoft nor Scoble. I’ll keep reading to see how things turn out.
Hey, thanks for the plug. Hope you enjoy the book. If your readers want, they can check out a sample chaptere on the book microsite, http://www.cssmastery.com/

Yeah Naked Conversations is a great book. I’m about half-way through it. I’d love to pick up CSS Mastery. I am pretty solid on CSS but I am not as good as I should be.
