Can you see the Pandora?

After hearing about Pandora from my friend Justin I decided to try it out at work.  This is awesome.  Its features and technology are really cool and interesting.  It’s basically a music recommendation service.  All you have to do is sign up for an account (really simple) and type in one of your favorite artist or song title.  Then it plays songs that are like or similar to what you inputted.  You can save multiple stations and play them when ever you like.  Another cool feature is that you can click on the current song that is playing and say you like it or don’t.  That better simplifies your playing list.  This is a really good thing for work.  It’s good to have things mixed up, and listen to things you would have never listened too. This is very cool and thanks to Justin to pointing this out.  Oh yeah someone compared this to Yahoo Music here at work.  Yes some of the features are just like it, such as the like it, don’t like it feature but this is Commercial free and you don’t have to keep clicking I want to listen more like you do in yahoo if your not a paying member.

Only draw back, needs a widget or konfabulator.  Other than that it’s great!

Thanks Pandora

If I offended anyone…

Then I guess I should apologize.  That’s what Mayor Ray Nagin said yesterday after his racial remarks made Monday (Martin Luther King Day) about New Orleans returning to a “chocolate” city again.

The only real question I have is how can anyone get away with this? Say a mayor from the Caucasian race said, “This city will be come white again!”  It would be all over the media and that person would be forced to resign.  So, I’m calling for the resignation of Mayor Ray Nagin!  Just kidding, I could care less for that city.  Who in their right mind rebuilds a city that is below the lakes and the ocean?  It’s only going to happen again.

And that’s my word.

I’m Asking You!

In my previous post about the good old Clinton’s I posted something about Mayor Ray Nagin and how he said New Orleans will become a chocolate city again.  Well a reporter has asked him what he meant about his previous statement.  If this doesn’t explain what pulling something out of your ass is then I don’t know what is.  Check out the clip over at The Political Teen

You know what I’m talking about…

Hillary is back at it again.  This time it doesn’t have to do with video games and grand theft auto.  This it has to do with preaching.  On a day for Martin Luther King many politicians used this day for a day to preach.  Most preached about civil rights and some about the current state of our government.  Only one stuck out like a sour apple.  That one was Hillary Clinton.  Leave it to a Clinton to get there name in the spotlight.  It’s even worse that Ray Nagin saying that, “New Orleans will be a “chocolate” city again.”  Construe this statement how ever you want.  But who gave New Orleans the right’s to the Wonka bar?  At a local church many people gathered to hear our Finest NY Senator scream about how the Bush Administration is doing things all wrong.  Wait a second, wasn’t this ceremony to honor MLK?  Hum…on we go.  After listening her speech a third and four time I asked myself.  Did she just say what I think she said?  On MLK’s day, a day about civil right Hillary Clinton said the following to a church filled with African Americans,

“We have a culture of corruption, we have cronyism we have incompetence I predict to you that this administration will go down on history as one of the worst that has ever governed out country.”

Clinton then got a question from the crowd,

“I need you to tell us what distinguishes Democrats from Republicans right now.”

Clinton’s response,

“When you look at the way the House of Representatives has been run, it has been run like a plantation and you know what I’m talking about…”

All on a day for Martin Luther King and Civil Right!  You know what I’m talking about…

404 “Page Not Found”

Way back, about 2 weeks ago Justin over at Confessions of an Undercover Geek, wrote an article about 404 pages or those aweful errors you get when you can’t get to where you want to on a web site. So I decided to look at mine. Found out after I made some changes to my site I didnt have a 404 page, or any other error pages. In addition to creating my error pages I decided to store my wordpress in another directory and set up my sitemap so that google could better archive my site. Making searching easier for the user. Below are some great links that helped me along with this process.
