Do we really need heated toilet seats? A company in Japan announced that it would open a plant in Mexico that will produce its best selling heated toilet seats. This move would help the birth of heated seats in the US. The BBC is quoting that
The new factory would be able to make 400,000 seats a year by 2008
This is unbelievable. I’m not sure about you, but I’m not the kind of person that would need one of these. Are you a toilet reader? How long do you need sit on the crapper to need a heated seat? If your there for more than 10 minutes then by the first 3 minutes its already heated from your body heat, and what about electrocution. How does this seat become heated? We will see if this becomes a norm.
