AIM, GAIM and Bots!

I went to Gaim because I was sick of AIM. I hated when that damn voice started talking to me, playing those damn movie previews that I had no interest in. It scared me, no not because it was playing without my permission. It scared me because I was in the middle of some intense coding and bam! As loud as shit Jar-head would start playing. So the solution for me was to download Gaim. It was great, no more stupid ads nothing. I had full control and I was happy as a puppy. However, things have changed. When i started my Instant messenger up this morning at work I was greeted with these two lovely messages,

You get the idea, It doesn’t just effect AIM it has propagated to GAIM too. I’m not the only one complaining. For now I have deleted them, but let’s see how long it takes for my two buddies I don’t want to show up again!
