Kapusta the Photographer

I don’t think I have missed an installation of Kapusta Brothers, but if I did then ill give you a special treat. This weekend I had the honor to shoot my first wedding. It was excellent, and out of the 600 photos (300 that I personally have on my computer) I have complied some of the better ones. They are currently up on my FREE!….flickr account. If you didn’t notice I said FREE…..which I would like to say pro but I am a cheap bitch and don’t want to pay the $24.00 for the year. So if anyone wants to donate a flikr pro account to me just drop me a line at flikrpro@kapustabrothers.com. Oh yeah the special treat is that you get to view the photos.

Final Day in Avon

Yesterday I arrived in Avon, CT to attend some meetings and learn about a issue tracking program that I will be come the lead developer on. It’s mostly a maintence developer since 90% of the application is working correctly, but as more and more projects become active in the application I will have to add them in which could be a task. Avon is a small town with not much happening. Very old townish and quant. That’s probably why my hotel (4 1/2 stars) is called Avon Old Farms, becuase its OLD (but nice). Today I fly out of Bradley International on my way back to Rochester, NY at around 5:45pm. Overall the trip was a sucess. I learned alot about the application and got to meet people that I have only talked to on the phone. So it was good. Another thing is I got to see what people are paying for in gas. At the dollar rent a car they told me to either one, return the car on empty or two, fill it up. I was shocked when I saw the gas prices hovering around $2.70! Rochester is close to that but only hovering around the $2.50 mark. However, I did find an intresting site off of kottke.org that show what the prices of gas are in the world. It’s very intresting. Just look where we get our oil from and then look at the prices. It’s a good brain teaser!

Times a fly’n

Busy days have been gone by and I have had no time to write about anything. It’s defiantly a time issue. If only the hours in a day could be extended by like three hours. Maybe I should bring this up when I run for congress some day.
This past week I was in a race in Auburn called the Great Race, which consists of a 4 person team (1 runner, 1 biker, and 2 canoeists). We did quite well 51st out of 249 teams. You can see more pictures of the race and our team on my flikr site. This week is also going to be busy. Thursday I leave for Avon, Ct only to be home on Friday. Saturday might consist of some swimming and golfing with Jen and Sunday I am shooting photographs at a wedding. I’ll post some of them Sunday night if I have a chance. All and all it’s been busy. I’m going to try to stay up on this blogging thing and try to post once every two days. I can’t say everyday because I know it won’t happen, I know from experience.
