After reading Justin’s article about the new legislation that Hillary Clinton is going to introduce and listening to talk radio this past week, I feel it’s about time to comment about the topic. My take on this whole thing is that Hillary needed something to get her in the news. See in order for her to get good rep she needs to get on a topic that the majority of the people will agree with. Yes, I do agree that this is probably wrong, to have a mod in a game to open up sexual explicate levels and I think that something should be said about it. On the other hand, I don’t think that it is a big enough reason for legislation. We have many other problems that we should worry about. So here is my list of what about’s:
Miss Hillary Clinton is a true carpet bagger that has done nothing for upstate New York. She sits in her downstate office (or DC when she goes) and spends our hard earned money. It would be different if she spent the money up here, but she doesn’t. At least Chucky Boy comes to upstate NY once and a while!
Today was a long busy and somewhat boring day. It all started yesterday when I had the idea that I was going to get up early and take a ride to get some pictures along the lake. Well I did just that but the weather wasn’t that great for pictures, and after about 200 miles I had 3 decent ones. I started at my apartment and headed out 390 north first stopping near Kodak Park to pick up a Tim Hortans coffee. I then headed out to charlotte to start my journey. I headed west on the Lake Ontario State Pkwy through the towns of Hamlin, lakeside, Wilson and many more. I picked up RT 18 at the end of the parkway and headed to Niagara, passed by Niagara college and then into Niagara Falls. Then picked up 190 and went around the city of buffalo, past the HSBC Arena and stopped at the Walden Galleria. Didn’t get anything just walked around and then picked up the thruway to head back to Rochester.
“The city of Brotherly Love”, and home to nothing more than “WIZ”, the cheese of course! This weekend my brother Brian and his wife Allusion, Nick, and I went to Philly to go to Ikea and do some quick sightseeing. Everything went like a well oiled ship, although we did see some rusty ones in the river that could have used some. Ikea was awesome like usual. Never thought I could miss that place. The days of living in DC would bring me to an Ikea a least once every two weeks. Once I walked through the doors that Ikea smell ran through my body and lots of DC memories were reborn. Brian and Allison got plenty for their new kid (Davis, I think) that’s on the way and Nick purchased a fair amount too. While in the city we took a 90 minute bus tour of the city. Most of the pictures are from that tour. Very interesting city which is FULL of history. More than I thought. The last time I visited was probably about 12 years ago. The bus tour was exceptionally well. I have never really taken a bus tour of any city but for the price that we got it was well worth it (even if the guy didn’t use his microphone). Overall…I would visit again.
